2. Processing when visiting this website

When you access this website, the server processes technically necessary log data (e.g. IP address, date/time, requested URL, user agent) to ensure operation, stability, and security. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Cookies / local website storage

This website only uses one functional cookie for language preference (de/en). It is used for usability only and does not contain tracking identifiers. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us via email, we process the submitted data (in particular email address, message content, and technical metadata) as required to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Data processing in the app (Infusion Calculator)

The app is designed for local processing. Calculations (e.g. flower amount, THC percentage, target mg per teaspoon, recipe amounts, dosage values) are performed on-device. No server-side transfer to the operator is required for core functionality.

6. Locally stored app data

The app stores only technically necessary settings locally on your device (UserDefaults/AppStorage), currently including:

• Selected appearance mode (system/light/dark)
• Onboarding display status

These values are not used for advertising or behavioral tracking.

If iCloud or iTunes backups are enabled on your device, locally stored app data may be included in those backups. Backup processing is performed by Apple under its own responsibility.

7. PDF export and sharing

The app can generate a recipe PDF on-device using your entered and calculated values. If you use the share function, data is only transferred based on your explicit action via the iOS share sheet to the app/service you choose. Any further processing is the responsibility of that third-party provider.

8. No unsupported processing activities

• No integrated AI features in the current app version
• No user accounts and no login
• No server-side profiling
• No embedded analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
• No transfer of calculation data to the operator during normal app use

9. App Store and platform services

When downloading and distributing the app via the Apple App Store, Apple processes personal data under its own responsibility. Apple privacy terms apply in this context.

10. Legal bases

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: processing to provide requested functions (e.g. calculations, PDF generation, user-initiated sharing)
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: technically necessary website operation, security, and functional language preference
• Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR: processing required to comply with legal obligations (where applicable)

11. Retention period

Website server logs are retained only as long as required for secure operation. Email communication is stored only as long as necessary to process requests and comply with statutory retention obligations. App settings remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, or reset the device.

12. Recipients and third-country transfers

Recipients may include technical service providers for hosting and email, where required for operation. Transfers to third countries may occur when using external platform services (e.g. Apple or share targets selected by you); such processing is performed under the responsibility of the respective provider.

13. Your GDPR rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

14. Data security

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are used to protect data against loss, manipulation, and unauthorized access.

This privacy policy will be updated if legal requirements, website functions, or app functions change. The version published on this page applies.
